Takyon is a next-generation hotel booking platform that combines the best of third-party booking sites and direct hotel reservations. It ensures users get the lowest price while still benefiting from a centralized search experience and a unique resale system for non-refundable stays.

Understanding the Market: Travelers use third-party booking platforms despite higher prices because of the convenience, loyalty rewards, and features like easy reservation management.
Identified Official Websites pain points:
● Limited hotel comparison – Hard to evaluate multiple options across different hotel websites.
● No loyalty benefits – Booking on various hotel sites means missing out on rewards.
● Lack of flexibility – Non-refundable reservations leave no room for changes.
● No centralized management – Direct bookings are scattered across different platforms with no unified system.
Takyon redefines hotel booking by combining the convenience of platforms like Booking.com with the advantages of direct reservations. The platform offers:

With DirectSearch, users search for hotels just like on Booking.com, but when they’re ready to book, they’re redirected to the hotel’s official website for the best price and exclusive perks.

Takyon introduces a loyalty program where users earn Takoins by interacting with the platform. These can be used to buy hotel reservations from other users and unlock exclusive discounts at partner hotels.

Takyon introduces the Resellable Rate, replacing non-refundable rates with a cheaper yet flexible alternative. If a traveler can’t go, they can resell their reservation to other users on the platform.
How it works?
● Book a resellable hotel reservation.
● If plans change, list the reservation in the Resale Marketplace.
● Other travelers bid and negotiate directly via in-app messaging.
● The new buyer gets the reservation, and the original booker gets their money back.
Takyon solves the missing reservation management problem by allowing users to store their bookings inside the app. Even if booked through a hotel website, users can add it to their Takyon Wallet to:
